"Quick Vic" Elford teams up with veteran Italian ace Umberto Maglioli to capture the overall victory at the '68 Targa Florio in a Porsche 907.
After losing 18 minutes with wheel problems on the first lap of the Targa Florio 1968, Vic Elford drove for a total of seven of the 10 laps of the 72 kms circuit, pushing his Porsche 907 to the limit and breaking the lap record several times on the way to an amazing and historic come-from-behind victory! Not a bad day at the office!

Sebring Driver's Meeting
Artist Roger Warrick has created a tribute to the 12 Hours of Sebring and the people who have made the event over the past 55 years. Populated by over 90 characters, this print captures the history and flavor of America's most famous sports car endurance race.You will find many of your favorites depicted in this fantasy driver's meeting taking place in the old pits. Reinhold Joest is holding court with another famous team owner, John Wyer. Juan Fangio is shown with Juan Fangio II, John Fitch and Briggs Cunningham are there as are Al and Bob Holbert. If you look on the left side, you will see Steve McQueen and Peter Revson, who almost pulled off a major upset, just missing winning the 1970 event.
